If I could have posted negative stars, I would have. The last several purchases I have made at Sears have been total nightmares. Without pulling out the last purchases original receipt, it's going on about 2 months and I still don't have everything I paid for. I purchased a tool chest and tool box combo. When I got it home, the tool box was damaged. I returned it, and once I got it home, found out it was damaged, also. I went back to the store today to get the one they were holding for me, and even though it was tagged for me, someone got it out of the back and sold it. They ordered me another one, but it won't get there for 2 more weeks. I live approximately 30 miles one way from the store. This is a lot of trips and still don't have what I paid for. The purchase before this, I had a somewhat similar experience. I'm 63 yrs. old. My parents always shopped at Sears and I have also. Sears is no longer the store it used to be. I can totally see why Sears is on the verge of being out of business. It's a shame that a store that used to be a giant in the industry is now going down the toilet.
My daughter, Great grandson and I were shopping for a new washer and dryer at Sears this afternoon when an employee, Joyce came up and offered her assistance. She was very helpful. We had been shopping yesterday for the best washer and dryer we could afford that was durable and dependable. We had many questions, Joyce had the answers or went on line to get them. We also wanted stainless steel drums on both. We decided on an lG. The washer was stainless and the dryer was aluminised steel. Sears should have more employees like Joyce. She is a great asset to Sears. We found the right store, JOYCE, and a LG set we needed. Thanks to Sears, Joyce and LG.
Every type of media available knowledgeable staff, and vast inventory. Decent coffee and snacks as well.
I love Sears because they always have great deals and really help u out. They are curtious and very friendly. I HOPE THEY never go out of business. Love to be able to Walk around and find the right gift. Online is gone on some things but then I can not look at it,and make sure it's what I need
Thank you, Linda Hall
