My stay was horrifying! I suffered injuries from the other kids at the child unit. I was terrified and they gave me pills but they made me sick. When I got home I stopped taking them and I feel better with out them. The staff are ok but they don't protect the children very well. I also want to mention that I lost over five pounds within for days due to To the quality of food. I suffered and over all it was a bad experience I have been scared for life and those kids haunt my dreams. I was touched sextally by another child. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! All it did was hurt me even more. I can't even talk about it with out

crying. PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SENDING YOUR CHILD HERE PLEASE GIVE THEM A CHANCE DONT LET THEM SUFFER LIKE I DID. I will never be the same person I was. I never knew fear until I went to mountain view phciatric hospital. Please please never send them here! Please don't do this to your child.
Dr. Shehi is a pretty good damn doc. He staffs people that are good at what they do. Sure there's one or two bad apples but overall, great place.
Don't expect any real diagnosis from this hospital. Mother sent there for evaluation, they don't do all the testing necessary nor do they spend enough time talking with family to find problem. Quick in and out.
I have been a patient there and it was a living hell watch season two of American Horror Story that's the only way to describe that hospital never ever ever send your loved ones there.
