The three providers in this office exhibit the utmost in professionalism. They run on time and they give you their full attention. I have had the pleasure of working here for the past few months and I find this office to be extremely accommodating, efficient and helpful. I wouldn't want my family or friends to go anywhere else! Dr. Ben Carr, Angela Garrard and Kara Carter are A+++++ providers. Ashley and Frances go above and beyond to help their patients. Congratulations Carr Mental Wellness on doing it right!
I felt comfortable right away with Dr.Carr and his staff is very professional and friendly. I will recommend him to asks if I know any good psychiatrists.
The office staff is extremely rude. If they make a mistake they blame it on the patient! They will not correct it nor do they care and they hang up on their patients. I have never in my life seen a doctors office staff so unprofessional and uncaring! Each time this person has been seen at this office there has been a problem with the front desk office staff. And this person has been going for over a year! They constantly make mistakes with insurance companies and do not care that their mistakes cost the patient days with out their medications. Some in which can cause a lot of problems in their daily lives! This causing them to go through weeks of getting straightened back out chemically in their systems. I will be showing up as soon as the doors are open to this office and matching myself right on to the back to speak with the doctor that's never available to speak to the patients on the phone per the office staff. Best believe the BBB as well as the State Medical Office will be hearing about the patient neglect that goes on here!
The staff was EXTREMELY rude to me! They called two days before my appt to tell me I was going to have to pay $80 instead of the regular $50 copay! I didn't have the money to pay that much at one time so I had to reschedule my appt! They scheduled it for a month later and I ran out of meds! I called to try to get them to call me in enough to do me just until my appt and she told me I should have come to my appt! I told her she didn't have to be rude to me and asked what her name was so I could talk to dr Carr about her when I came in for my appt and she said that's not important! I'm ending this call now and hung up on me! I'm going to my next appt and talk to dr Carr about his staff then I'll NEVER go back to see him again! I recommend that nobody else goes in to see him either! They only care about the money and not the patients!
In my opinion, this has to be the worst experience for me as a patient. Scheduling appointments are absurd, getting help in non existent, the staff has a attitude and the Dr is never available to speak with. Dr's are supposed to care for patients, not give them the run around. I'm disgusted. UPDATE : I believe the office staff may have gotten rid of the rude receptionist (her name starts with M) as of lately the place has been running more smoothly. I see a female psychtrist that is wonderful. (name starts with K) She's very helpful and listens. I'm comfortable and she's treated me very well. Hopefully the issues with the rude staff have been ironed out.
